Daintree River Cruises - Many small family run operators take visitors for 1 hour tours of the Daintree River.  Some specialise in bird watching while the electric boat is the quietest boat on the river.  These tours can be taken from Daintree Village or closer to the Daintree River Ferry. 

Alexandra Range Lookout - Make sure you stop and absorb the remote beauty of this spectacular lookout.

Daintree Discovery Centre & Canopy Tower - This centre was created for visitors wanting to learn about and explore the lowland rainforest via elevated boardwalks and the canopy tower as well as an interpretive display centre. 

Entomological Museum - You can't miss the spider web gates on Turpentine road.  This world class display exhibits the best private Butterfly and Beetle collections and includes the largest collection of rare and Brizarre insects in Australia.  The buildings and cabinets are all designed and handcrafted by Stephen. There is also a Jungle gallery selling butterfly display cases made from rare timbers from the timber plantation as well as locally made products including teas, t-shirts, magnets, silk scarves, postcards, books, locally made jams, locally made jewellery

Daintree ice cream company - A great place to enjoy a cool tropical exotic fruit ice cream or gelati.
